The Big Questions

Now that we've arrived at the all-too-familiar junction that is Blogger, I thought that it would be a good opportunity to pause and reflect. Why are we here?

And why should Jess be given $10,000?

Firstly, 'here' exists because Expedia Australia has exhibited a faith in human nature that is nothing short of admirable, to entrust one of their most important marketing vehicles in the hands of the travel-hungry public. Hopefully, this member the travel-hungry public. Which, in turn, has inspired me to respond with the gesture that is The Mysterious Expediated Blog Trail, which is why I am here.

And you are here either because it your job, or you have stumbled across my Facebook page for this contest and out of interest or boredom have followed me this far. Whatever your situation, my thanks go to you for sharing this experience with me. It's been a tonne of fun so far :)

The question as to why I should be given the opportunity to go for gold with respect to the $10K over the thousands of no doubt talented people applying for the same thing is a more complex one to answer.

Have I ever served as professional hostess of an online community? No.

Have I got the training, talent and interest to engage with people online and produce creative and interesting content? Hells yeah!

Are there even more reasons why I should be chosen for this opportunity which may be revealed at various landmarks along The Trail, as well as some substantiation of the above claim?
